Part of me thinks this story is great, with the stained glass details, the royal + commoner plotline, and, oh yeah, the super hot sex (!), but another part of me is eye-rolling for days. 😃įour solid 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 ! I had a lot of fun with this one! Nope, the plot is not realistic, not even a little bit. Prepare to put on your fiction shades and just go with it. Felix's mom showing up was entirely unnecessary the story didn't need the extra drama. UGH, the less said about that the better. Usually, I bitch about abrupt endings, but once the guys left the castle, there was a lot of stupid behaviour I could have done without.įelix tucked tail and ran, and Lio.

My only complaint is that the ending was too drawn out. West and Nico, the MCs from book 1, are barely mentioned. I especially liked Lio's valet Arthur and hope he gets a story of his own.Ä­oc and Grandpa make an appearance too, but this book works as a standalone. Thumbs up for the steam, humour, great secondary characters, and googly-eyed HEA!
